FOGGY DAY INFORMATION
Foggy Day Schedule:
1-HOUR DELAY:
Buses are delayed one (1) hour; school starts at 8:05AM. Instruction begins at 8:05AM.
2-HOUR DELAY:
Buses are delayed two (2) hours; school starts at 8:05AM. Instruction begins at 8:05AM.
AM BUSES CANCELLED:
All MORNING buses are cancelled; school starts at 8:05AM. Instruction begins at 8:05AM.
PM BUSES CANCELLED:
All AFTERNOON buses are cancelled; school starts at 8:05AM. Instruction begins at 8:05AM.
Note: Because some areas are clear of fog while other areas are foggy, for safety's sake, KCUESD asks that parents delay bringing their students to school until they feel it is safe to do so.
Foggy Day Office Procedures:
Parentsquare notices will be sent to staff and students when a foggy day schedule is declared; however, you are also welcome to call the school at 559-582-2843 to check the current schedule status.
Foggy day schedule is also announced on several radio stations, including KMJ Radio 580 and on Channel 18.
Attendance will be taken at 9:30AM when the district is on a foggy day schedule. Students arriving before this time on these days will not require a tardy pass to go to class. Staff will report to work for their regular work hours.
