    I am so excited for the 2021-2022 school year! In kindergarten, we are going to learn everything you need to be successful in the future.

     

    Here are some fun things you can do at home to help you throughout the year:

    Practice writing your first and last name, using your best handwriting!

    Read for 30 minutes

    Practice your sight words

    Practice writing the alphabet (capital & lowercase)

    Sound out CVC words and write what you hear

    Practice writing sentences using your sight words

    Counting & writing #'s 0-20 in number and word form

    Adding & subtracting up to 10

    Drawing your shapes (circle, sqaure, triangle, rectangle, rhombus, hexagon, trapezoid)

    Turn a shape into anything you want and explain it to someone at home
